Barbieri Chestnut Truffles


These truffles are the result of a collaboration with Annalisa Barbieri, Chocolate Correspondent for The Observer. Annalisa remembers her father making a wonderful chestnut and chocolate gelato, and she wanted to recreate the chocolate and chestnut pairing. After a lot of experimentation and tasting notes going back and forth, these delicious truffles are the result; Clement Faugier crème de marrons (sweetened chestnut puree) blended with milk chocolate, with crunchy roasted hazelnuts which perfectly complement the chestnut flavour. The truffles are rolled in an organic 80% single origin chocolate from Uganda, then finished with a dusting of cocoa powder to balance the sweetness.

All our chocolates are packaged in plastic-free, recyclable, biodegradable packaging.

This is made in an environment that handles gluten, milk, soy, sulphites, egg and nuts. Whilst every care is taken to avoid cross contamination, I’m afraid I can’t guarantee that any product is entirely allergen-free.
